RTP and Volatility Explained (Slots)
RTP and volatility are the two numbers that actually describe how a slot behaves. They measure different things, and reading them together tells you far more than either alone.
RTP: the long-run average
Return to Player is the share of all money wagered that a slot pays back over a very long run — a 96% RTP means about ৳96 returned per ৳100 staked, averaged across millions of spins. It is never a promise for your session; short runs swing wildly around it.
Volatility: how bumpy the ride is
Volatility (variance) describes how wins arrive. Low volatility pays small and often; high volatility pays rarely but big. Two slots can share a 96% RTP yet feel completely different — one drips steadily, the other sits quiet then spikes.
Picking a game
Small budget and a long session? Lean low-to-medium volatility. Chasing a big feature and happy to wait? High volatility suits you. See the slots list for each game's profile.
