Wagering Requirements Explained (What 30x Means)
A wagering requirement — also called playthrough — is the amount you must bet before bonus money can be withdrawn. It is the single most important number on any bonus, and it is usually the one written smallest.
A worked example
Say you take a ৳1,000 bonus with 30x wagering. That means you must place ৳30,000 in bets before the bonus and its winnings unlock (30 × ৳1,000). Whether the requirement applies to the bonus only, or the deposit plus bonus, changes the maths a lot — always check which.
What else to read
Look at game weighting (slots usually count 100%, table games far less), the maximum bet allowed while wagering, and the expiry window. A generous headline with a short expiry and 40x terms can be worth less than a smaller, cleaner offer.
Staying in control
Only opt in when the terms fit how you actually play. A bonus is not free money if chasing the playthrough pushes you past your budget — see Responsible Gambling.
